«Nidegg» Lodge
Location
Located right next to the Grimmialp ski area in the Diemtigtal valley, this well-maintained self-catering group accommodation offers the ideal setting in both summer and winter for groups, clubs, school classes and families who wish to spend time together whilst retaining their independence and flexibility.
Surrounded by nature and with plenty of space both inside and around the house, the accommodation is perfect for active days as well as for cosy evenings in a relaxed atmosphere.

Travel information
Only in summer is it possible to arrive by private car. There are four parking spaces available right next to the house. Further free parking spaces are available in the valley. In winter, arrival is only possible using the landlord’s vehicle.

Two lounges and dining rooms, measuring approximately 20m² and 60m² respectively, are ideal for dining, playing games or simply spending time together. In addition, there are several ancillary and function rooms available:

An oil-fired central heating system ensures a comfortable temperature, making the house suitable for year-round use.

During the summer months, the Diemtigtal Nature Park reveals its diverse and colourful side. Numerous hikes set off directly from the «Nidegg» Lodge – ranging from leisurely strolls to more challenging mountain treks.
Especially for families, school groups and other groups, the Grimmimutz Play and Adventure Trail, the Water Playground and other activities organised in collaboration with the Diemtigtal Nature Park offer exciting opportunities to discover nature in a playful way. Guided themed trails and excursions provide insights into the landscape, wildlife and Alpine culture.
❄️Winter leisure activities
In winter, the area around the «Nidegg» Lodge is transformed into a veritable winter wonderland. Situated right next to the slopes in the Grimmialp–Stierengrimmi ski area, the house is an ideal base for winter sports enthusiasts of all kinds.
Skiers and snowboarders benefit from short distances and can start their day’s skiing without any detours. Ski tourers will also find attractive routes with impressive views in the region.
Away from the slopes, winter walking trails and snowshoe trails lead through the snow-covered landscape, offering peaceful exploration tours amidst the winter scenery. For groups and families, there are also sledging opportunities in the immediate vicinity.
